Canada has issued invitations to 1,000 candidates to apply for permanent residence through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) under the Express Entry system. The 18th August draw considered candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 523. Applicants also needed to have created their Express Entry profile before 10:13 a.m. UTC on August 17.
This was the 14th CEC draw of 2026 and had the highest CRS cut-off and lowest number of invitations in a single CEC draws this year. In 2026 so far 49,250 candidates have been invited through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) for permanent residence.
