4000 French-Speaking Candidates Invited in the New Express Entry Draw

In the 26th Express Entry draw of the year, Canada has sent 4,000 ITAs to French-speaking candidates. Held on 29th April 2026, it is the fifth draw under the French-language proficiency category. The draw had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score of 400, and the candidates should have created their Express Entry profile before 8:13 p.m. (UTC) on April 7, 2026.

Through continuous draws, Canada continues its focus to meet the economic immigration goals. French language proficiency category draws have sent the second-highest number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs), 26,000, among all Express Entry categories. The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) has sent the largest number of invitations so far (34,250). Candidates who are able to meet the shortages of labour and easily integrate into the workforce are given priority in Canada.
