British Columbia PNP Issues 474 Invitations in February Immigration Rounds

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held two draws on February 10 and February 11, 2026. The draws resulted in the issue of a total of 474 invitations to apply (ITAs) to skilled workers and entrepreneurs to settle and contribute to the province’s economy.

The first draw was held focusing on the Entrepreneur Immigration streams, and in it a total of 14 ITAs were issued, with 13 under the Base Stream and less than 5 under the Regional Stream. The base stream targets applicants ready to start or purchase a business anywhere in the province and it has higher eligibility thresholds, which include a minimum net worth of $600,000 and a $200,000 investment. The Regional stream targets entrepreneurs starting businesses in designated regional communities, and to be considered, the applicant requires a community referral, and it has only lower financial requirements.

In the second draw, focusing on skills immigration, 460 ITAs were issued to skilled workers who are likely to create a high economic impact in British Columbia. To be considered in the draw, candidates should have either a job offer in an occupation classified as National Occupation Classification (NOC) Training Education Experience and Responsibility (TEER) 0, 1, 2, or 3 with a minimum wage of $62/hour and annual earnings of $125,000 or at least a score of 135 points. Among the total ITAs issued, 195 ITAs were issued on the basis of wage and job offer, whereas 265 were issued based on the threshold of the score.
