PEI Issues 195 Invitations in Largest Provincial Immigration Draw of 2026

Under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP), Prince Edward Island (PEI) has conducted its largest provincial immigration draw of 2026. The 16 July 2026 draw invited 195 candidates to apply for provincial nomination.

The invitations were issued through the Labour Impact and PEI Express Entry streams. Priority consideration was given to international graduates from three PEI post-secondary institutions: the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), Holland College, and Collège de l’Île. These graduates have been prioritized in all PEI PNP invitation rounds held during 2026.

PEI has invited a total of 853 candidates to apply for provincial nomination in 2026 so far. The province continues to follow a planned draw schedule throughout 2026 and prioritize candidates already living and working in PEI in occupations facing labour shortages.

Candidates who want to be considered for future PEI PNP draws must submit an Expression of Interest profile. Several factors are considered for assessing the applications, such as proficiency of language, education, work experience, employment prospects, and alignment with provincial labour market needs
