On April 14th, 2026, the seventh Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw of the year was conducted. In this Express Entry draw, 2,000 candidates were invited to apply for permanent residence. Those candidates who had created their Express Entry profiles before June 10, 2025, 2.46 a.m. UTC, and with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 515 were considered.
The CRS score marks the highest cut-off score for CEC candidates in 2026, and compared to the last CEC draw, the cut-off increased by six points. This is the 22nd Express Entry selection of the year and is the smallest CEC draw in 2026. Despite the small number of invitations in this draw, CEC candidates continue to receive the most number of invitations as of now in 2026.
Candidates in Canada have the best opportunity now for permanent residence since Canada is giving high priority to those already with Canadian work experience or provincial nominations.
