Newfoundland and Labrador has issued 62 invitations to candidates seeking to immigrate through the province’s economic immigration programs. The latest selection round took place on September 18, with 61 invitations issued through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and one through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
Invited candidates have 60 days to submit their complete applications for provincial nomination or AIP endorsement. If approved, they can proceed with an application for Canadian permanent residence.
The province has now issued 2,654 invitations across both programs in 2026, including 2,259 through the NLPNP and 395 through the AIP. Newfoundland and Labrador does not disclose the specific occupations or sectors represented in each draw.
