Canada’s Express Entry pool saw notable changes in its CRS score distribution during the second half of August. Between August 16 and August 30, the total number of profiles declined slightly by 186, leaving 226,673 candidates in the pool.
The 351–400 CRS category recorded the sharpest decrease, dropping by 1,776 profiles to 46,824. In contrast, the 501–600 group grew by 885 candidates to 19,542, while those scoring between 601 and 1,200 increased from 439 to 559.
IRCC issued 6,442 ITAs through invitation rounds held from August 17 to 19, covering PNP, CEC and French-language proficiency. A further 2,562 ITAs were issued on August 31 and September 1 through PNP and CEC draws. As of September 1, IRCC had issued 117,427 Express Entry ITAs in 2026.
