Newfoundland and Labrador Invites 36 Candidates for Provincial Nomination

Newfoundland and Labrador has invited 36 foreign nationals to apply for a provincial nomination through its Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP). The invitations were issued on September 10, 2026, and selected candidates have 60 days to submit their nomination applications.

The latest draw brings the province’s total number of immigration invitations in 2026 to 2,592, including 2,198 through the NLPNP and 394 through the Atlantic Immigration Program.

Candidates must first submit an Expression of Interest through the province’s Immigration Accelerator Portal. Newfoundland and Labrador considers factors such as education, work experience, language skills and settlement plans. Applicants with experience in priority sectors such as healthcare, French-speaking candidates and those working outside major urban centres may receive greater consideration.
