Canada has invited 229 physicians with Canadian work experience to apply for permanent residence through the latest Express Entry draw held on September 3, 2026. Candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 198 to receive an invitation.
They also had to create their Express Entry profile before 7:40 p.m. UTC on August 6, 2026. This was the third physician-specific Express Entry draw of 2026. With this latest round, Canada has issued 891 invitations to physicians with Canadian work experience this year.
The targeted draws indicate Canada’s continued focus on attracting and retaining the medical professionals who already have experience working in the country.
