On 25th August 2026 the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) issued 16 invitations under its Entrepreneur Immigration category. Eleven invitations went to candidates under the Base Stream, while five were issued through the Regional Stream. Both streams had a minimum score of 116.
The latest draw was the ninth entrepreneur-focused selection conducted by the province this year. It also marked the highest number of invitations issued in a Regional Stream draw in 2026.
The Base Stream allows entrepreneurs to establish or expand a business, while the Regional Stream focuses on creating new businesses outside Metro Vancouver. Candidates who are successful can eventually seek provincial nomination and apply for Canadian permanent residence.
