Canada’s immigration department has released updated data on the Express Entry candidate pool, covering August 30 to September 13, 2026. The pool grew by just 120 profiles. Candidates who scored 471–500 decreased by 2,085. At the same time, the number of high-scoring candidates in the 501–600 range increased significantly, which has contributed to a rise of 1,257 profiles among top-scoring candidates.
During this period, four Express Entry draws issued 6,291 Invitations to Apply (ITAs), including selections for the Canadian Experience Class, Provincial Nominee Program, physicians, and healthcare and social services workers. As of 15th September, IRCC had issued 128,732 ITAs in 2026. In that CEC candidates have received 41.4% of them.
