Newfoundland and Labrador Issues 41 New Immigration Invitations

Newfoundland and Labrador has continued its 2026 immigration selections by inviting 41 candidates through its provincial immigration program. The latest invitations were issued on September 25, giving selected workers an opportunity to pursue permanent residence in Canada.

The province has now conducted 16 selection rounds this year. Overall, it has issued 2,695 invitations in 2026, with 2,300 coming through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program and another 395 through the Atlantic Immigration Program.

Unlike some previous rounds, the latest selection did not include any invitations under the Atlantic Immigration Program. Provincial authorities also did not provide a breakdown of the occupations or individual immigration streams represented among the 41 selected workers. Those receiving a provincial nomination can use it to support their application for Canadian permanent residence through the federal immigration system.
