New Brunswick has invited 678 skilled workers through several provincial immigration selections. The draws which were conducted between August 10 and September 18 targeted workers in priority sectors including construction, education and social services, manufacturing, professional and IT, sales and services, transportation, and other trades.
The selections were conducted through the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). Under the NBPNP, 197 invitations were issued through the Skilled Worker Stream, 102 through Express Entry, and 251 through the Strategic Initiative Stream. The AIP issued another 128 invitations.
Selected candidates can proceed with provincial nomination or endorsement and, if approved federally, apply for Canadian permanent residence. Some candidates may also qualify for work permit options while their applications are processed.
