Express Entry Update: Canada Invites 792 Provincial Nominees

On October 26, 2026, IRCC issued 792 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to provincial nominees in its 63rd Express Entry draw. The minimum CRS score was 761, and only profiles created before April 3, 2026 were eligible. It was the largest PNP round since June.

2026 PNP draws at a glance

The October 26 round was the year's second largest PNP draw. IRCC has held 21 PNP draws in 2026, issuing 10,814 invitations, about 7.5% of all Express Entry invitations.

Provincial rounds are growing. The average draw rose from 420 invitations in Q1 to 552 in Q3 and 772 in Q4. Cutoffs ranged from 697 to 805, but because nominees receive 600 additional points, they reflect nominees' base scores rather than competition. Draws follow a regular two-week cycle, usually just before a Canadian Experience Class round.

Sustained provincial demand makes a nomination one of the most reliable routes to permanent residence. As provinces select from the Express Entry pool, an active, accurate profile is essential.
